I am Angela Amerson. I am an Enrolled Agent. What is an Enrolled agent you ask.... Well, I specialize in tax law. I do everything a CPA does except and audit assurance letter. An assurance letter is usually only need in rare and specific situations. Most companies never need an assurance letter.
A little about me would be that I am a mom of 4 lovely adults. My husband and I have a special needs daughter one of our 4 children. I am also an avid potter and print 3d printed items! When taxes slow down I work on my pottery wheel and make functional pottery in my spare time.
Before I became an Enrolled Agent, I managed small businesses and was a pastry chef. I am an avid music lover and love most art.
I work with small businesses and try to educate about often missed tax deductions and credits. Some businesses (and individuals) just want me to prepare their taxes and/or there accounting work, I am ok with that because taxes and accounting is not everyone's cup of tea!
I am in Blythewood, South Carolina. I work with local businesses as well as people across the country. Taxes and accounting are always a continuous learning process. There is always more to learn. For me it is a puzzle and I take it as a challenge to make sure that I can find every deduction that I can and save you the taxpayer the most money I can. This is not only in the tax return preparation but in withholdings (w-2 income) and business expenses (for the business owner).
