I have always valued relationships and the ability to serve others and family medicine was the perfect choice to do both. I’m most effective as a physician when I know my patients, so a real relationship is the most important element of my care. In addition, honesty, authenticity, and communication greatly inform my practice of medicine. Since graduating from residency, I’ve been implementing lifestyle medicine, which uses diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, and behaviors to treat or prevent disease. It’s most rewarding when lifestyle medicine is able to help people lose weight and feel like new people. When I'm not at work, my hobbies include include volleyball, weightlifting, writing, singing and drawing.
