Lauren M Strait, MD

Lauren M. Strait, M.D., is a vascular surgeon with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and completed an internship in general surgery at the University of Texas School of Medicine, San Antonio. Dr. Strait completed her residency in general surgery at Albany Medical Center, New York, and a fellowship in vascular surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Her care philosophy is to formulate a care plan that meets the goals of the patient and provide the best care possible.
Dr. Strait grew up in Eastern Kentucky and loves the city of Louisville. In her free time, she enjoys boxing, cooking, reading and traveling.
