I chose to become a family nurse practitioner because I like to help people live healthy lives. I see it as a privilege to work together with my patients to address any health concerns they may have. Thus, a collaborative approach with my patients helps us find the best treatment options together given each person’s unique circumstances. The reason I chose family medicine is to help prevent chronic health conditions before they take hold. When I’m not helping my patients, I like to spend time walking along the beach or going fishing with my husband and three children. I’m also very active in my church giving art lessons and creating floral arrangements for our services.
