John T Nathanson, MD

JohnNathanson is a gastroenterologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatmentof a variety of digestive diseases as well as colorectalcancer screening and prevention. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience from AmherstCollege. He received his MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at MountSinai with a distinction in research, where was the recipient of the BarryColler Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine and was elected to the AlphaOmega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Nathanson trained in internal medicineat the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and completed hisgastroenterology fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. Hisinterests include the use of artificial intelligence in colonoscopy, and he haspublished on the application of technology in gastroenterology, access tocolorectal cancer screening, and colonoscopy quality.
