Andrea M Vitello, MD

Andrea Vitello, M.D., is a cardiologist at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health. Dr. Vitello specializes in general cardiology, women’s cardiovascular care, echocardiography, stress testing, preventive cardiology, risk assessment and heart failure treatment.

Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2021, Dr. Vitello served as a cardiologist and the echocardiography lab director at Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, Washington, where she oversaw the lab’s accreditation process.

Dr. Vitello has presented on cardiology and heart health at a number of industry and public events. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed publications like Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, the Journal of Applied Physiology and the CHEST Journal.

Dr. Vitello’s approach to patient care is to form a partnership with her patients, understand their goals and make treatment recommendations that fit within their wishes. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Vitello enjoys running, spending time with her family and finding new healthy recipes.
