Samit Patel, DO - Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB / GYN)

Samit Patel, DO, FACOG, FICS, centers his practice on honesty and listening. He encourages open conversation and questions to help his patients understand their choices when creating a care plan.

Dr. Patel received his bachelor’s degrees in biology and business from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania and his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington and during his 13 years in the US Army, Dr. Patel received his executive MBA in health care from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Outside of work, Dr. Patel spends his time staying active and being with his wife, children and dogs. He is also the player-manager for two softball teams and enjoys skiing, music, good food and watching Philadelphia sports teams.
