After earning a degree in engineering, I decided that I really didn't want to be an engineer. So I went off to Wharton and got an MBA--in marketing with a minor in operations research and management science. I've forgotten more advanced math than most people even know exists.

Then I embarked on an extensive career in marketing and consulting with a couple of entrepreneurial ventures thrown in. During that time I gained practical experience dealing with the federal tax code.

Retirement doesn't suit me so as I found myself with time on my hands I accepted a position preparing tax returns. That was about 25 years ago and I've prepared thousands of tax returns since then in places as far flung as Massachusetts, New Mexico, and Florida, where I've been for the past 16 years.

Many of my clients own rental real estate or other businesses. Many have multiple state tax returns to file. Some are doctors, nurses, or other professionals. Some are itinerant workers who may be in several locations during the year. I personally have had to file as many as 4 different state returns in one year.

I thoroughly enjoy working with different clients and being as legally creative as possible to minimize their tax bill.
