Certified Divorce Specialist

The Certified Divorce Specialist (CDS) program offers comprehensive training for professionals in various industries, equipping them with divorce-specific information and specialized communication skills for both low and high conflict cases. This 16-hour course covers legal, financial, mental health, and real estate information and offers a participatory learning experience. The CDS program allows professionals to add value and credibility to their services, enhancing their ability to assist divorcing clients.
Key skills covered include understanding the unique language and culture of divorce, managing emotional states, and effectively managing client expectations. Upon completion, professionals are better equipped in understanding legal, financial, mental health, and real estate implications of divorce, effectively managing emotional states, and questioning and managing client expectations.
