Scott Mattox

Scott S. Mattox, LUTCF is an experienced agent with Georgia Farm Bureau serving the Ware County area. He specializes in farm, home, auto, and life insurance as well as bank products from Farm Bureau Bank. Scott has been with Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance for over 20 years serving members in Wayne, Appling and now Ware County. Scott is originally from neighboring Pierce County (Blackshear). He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Valdosta State University in December of 2000. He received the Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow designation in 2006. Scott has earned the following honors and awards while at GFB: 2004 District 7 Training Agent of the Year, 2012 District 7 Career Agent of the Year Runner- Up, 2014 District 7 Agent of the Year, 2020 3rd Place Statewide Agency of the Year in Appling County (AM with + 0 Agents), 2020 Statewide Master Underwriter of the Year, 2004 All Star winner as well as many other state and district recognitions. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Blackshear where he serves as deacon, Sunday School teacher, Missions Team member, usher, and welcoming team member. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, and watching Georgia football. He takes great pleasure in helping and encouraging others.
