Global Parents for Eczema Research

Global Parents for Eczema Research (GPER) was formed by two parents in 2015. Both had been struggling with managing their children’s moderate to severe eczema and with finding evidence-based information to guide medical decisions. At that time, treatments were limited and no new ones had been developed for children in decades. GPER formed around the need for research to support evidence-based medical decision making on behalf of children with eczema and to shed light on the underlying causes of GPER formed around the need for research to support evidence-based medical decision making on behalf of children with eczema and to shed light on the underlying causes of the condition. Today GPER is focused on finding a cure for eczema through research in supporting families with the best evidence-based information and peer support.
