I have been preparing taxes for other people professionally since 1976 starting in the IRS VITA program for 3 years while attending college. Upon graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Boston University, I took the H&R Block tax course and upon completion was offered a position as Tax Associate. After 15 years with H&R Block, I decided to start my own income tax business with offices in California and North Carolina. In 2022 I also worked with Intuit Turbo Tax in their Full Service segment preparing tax returns for people all across the United States. I am CTEC Certified in California which means I must take 20 or more hours of CE every year to remain current on tax law. Everyone has a unique situation and I enjoy analyzing and helping them to apply the tax laws to their advantage.
