Andrew G. Barnes, PhD

Andrew Barnes, PhD, is a psychologist with Providence Medical Group-Sunset. In addition to serving as a voice and advocate for patients within our integrated care team, he works with patients directly to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental, whole-person care. “All people can improve their well-being, maybe in ways they didn’t think was possible,” he says. “Learning about the mind-body connection is vital to complete well-being.” Dr. Barnes holds degrees from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, and from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in Bronx, NY. He completed his internship at Oregon State University and his residency at Northwest Occupational Medicine Center. He has special training in pain management and trauma care.
