Dr. Nicolas Merzlak, DO is a family medicine physician with AHN Primary Care Institute. He provides patient-centered care for preventive exams, ongoing conditions, illnesses and injuries. His varied skills include OMT, dermatologic procedures, addiction medicine, IUD/Nexplanon, women’s health, and pediatric care.

Dr. Merzlak completed his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He then completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He completed his family medicine residency at AHN Forbes in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Merzlak is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He takes pride in helping prevent illnesses in his patients and in improving the health of the communities he serves. He strives to build therapeutic rapport with each of his patients so that health care is delivered without judgement and as a “doctor-patient team.” Dr. Merzlak welcomes patients of all ages.
