Maryam Sharifi, MD

Maryam Sharifi, MD, is board certified in endocrinology. Dr. Sharifi earned her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services in Iran. She completed her internship and residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and a fellowship at the University of New Mexico Hospital. As an endocrinologist, Dr. Sharifi diagnoses and manages health conditions that affect the glands and the hormones, especially diabetes. Her patients say that she is warm, caring and passionate about helping them achieve the best possible health. They also say they appreciate her good listening s kills and in-depth knowledge about health issues. In her spare time, Dr. Sharifi enjoys swimming, hiking, listening to music and spending time with her family. In addition to English, she speaks Farsi.
