Brian M Plato, DO

Brian Plato, D.O., is a neurologist with Norton Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Plato earned his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in neurology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he also served as chief resident of neurology and completed a mini-fellowship in headache medicine. His special area of medical interest is headache medicine.
Dr. Plato is board-certified in neurology and in headache medicine. Dr. Plato is a board member of the Southern Headache Society and the chair of the American Headache Society's special interest section on complementary and alternative medicine. Dr. Plato is involved with the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy organization, which promotes public awareness of headaches and related issues.
Dr. Plato is an investigator on several clinical trials to develop new treatments for headache disorders.
Dr. Plato has been voted by his peers as one of Louisville Magazine’s Top Docs for 2019.
