My firm Shaffer & Associates prides itself in getting to know each client and meeting their unique tax, accounting, and financial needs. I'm an Enrolled Agent with 20 years of tax experience, and in this field experience is key to good service. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and went on to get a Masters Degree in Computer Science at California State University Northridge. From there I went on to work with a wide variety of companies and individuals providing tax, accounting and financial expertise. I enjoy assisting clients, businesses and other entities in using all of the tax laws to maximize their deductions and to set themselves up for the best tax situation both now and in the future.

At my firm we know the service doesn't end when the tax return is complete. Tax planning is part of the service and tax resolution services are available when needed.

I provide service to both individuals (complex, intermediate and basic returns) and businesses of all types (sole proprietorships, S Corporations, C Corporations, Partnerships and LLCs). I am a full service firm and provide bookkeeping, QuickBooks setup and training, and other business services as well. I also have experience with estate, trust and gift tax returns.
