Dr. Hamzavi began his medical journey with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. He later earned a master’s and medical doctorate from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

He completed his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York. Dr. Hamzavi also served as the orthopaedic surgery chief resident at New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital. He has since specialized in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those involving knee pain, shoulder pain, back pain, hip pain, and elbow pain.

The practice embraces a personal approach to health care. Dr. Hamzavi aims to address specific orthopaedic concerns and empower patients with a comprehensive understanding of their conditions and recovery plans.

Dr. Hamzavi's experience extends to sports medicine in the local Tampa Bay area, including high schools, the University of Tampa Soccer, St. Leo University, the University of South Florida Football and Soccer, and Tampa Bay Buccaneer Football.
