Carlen A. Yuen, MD

Dr. Carlen Amy Yuen is a board-certified UCI Health neurologist who specializes in neuro-oncology.

An experienced clinical and translational researcher in the field of neuro-oncology, Yuen focuses on meningiomas, immunotherapy and CAR T-cell neurotoxicity. Her work has been published in many peer-reviewed journals, many as first author. She has received awards for her research and is actively engaged in teaching activities and lectures for medical students, residents and fellows.

She earned her medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. She completed a residency in neurology at the University of Chicago, followed by a fellowship in neuro-oncology at the New York Presbyterian Medical Center (Columbia University and Cornell University).
