Dr. Thebe Bagwasi, O.D.

Dr. Bagwasi, originally from Botswana, Southern Africa, excelled in his studies, earning a BS in Biology Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). He continued at UMSL's School of Optometry, graduating in 2003. With two decades of experience, Dr. Bagwasi has practiced optometry across Fairview Heights IL, South County, Maplewood, and O'Fallon, MO. He is an active member of the National Optometry Association and has contributed to InfantSee, providing free pediatric eye exams through the American Optometry Association.

Renowned for engaging conversations with his patients, Dr. Bagwasi values the insights he gains daily. His extensive experience and regional connections enable him to refer patients to a wide network of specialists when necessary.

Driven by his strong faith, Dr. Bagwasi cherishes time with his family, including his wife, four children, a dog, and three cats. His personal interests include gardening, beekeeping, travel, and music.
