Emily Cottrell, NP

Emily Cottrell, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in pulmonary disease who sees patients 18 years and older.

Emily treats COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease (ILD), lung nodules, and other acute and chronic pulmonary conditions. Emily has practiced in pulmonology since 2017.

Emily provides the education and tools to help patients make informed decisions about their medical care. She utilizes a holistic philosophy of treating each patient as an individual and works to overcome barriers to treatment. She enjoys helping patients improve the difficulties that shortness of breath creates in their daily lives.

Emily is originally from Granite City and lives in the area. When she isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, reading and being an active sports mom to her children.

Emily completed her medical training at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
