George Michael Strickland, MD

I've always been drawn to psychology, taking numerous courses in college. During medical school rotations, I found my passion in psychiatry, relishing the opportunity to care for patients. Witnessing their progress brings me immense joy, especially when they leave the hospital significantly improved. My focus is on patients with severe psychiatric disorders like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Currently, I serve inpatients in Ardmore and Ada, managing a senior behavioral health unit in both locations. Additionally, we're launching an outpatient clinic for adults and geriatric patients in the Ada facility, an exciting new practice.
