Richard L. Julyan, MD

Rich Julyan, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with Providence Medical Group-Ashland. “I focus on prevention and healthy habits that can help patients maximize their health, independence and well-being,” he says. “Often, testing and medications aren’t needed. Much of what patients can do to improve their health comes down to making lifestyle changes. Striving for a solid health foundation should always be a goal.” A graduate of the University of Washington, Dr. Julyan earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his internship and residency at North Colorado Family Medicine. He is board certified and has specialized training in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance-use disorders.
