Barbara San Roman Hassanzadeh, APRN

Barbara Hassanzadeh, APRN, is a certified nurse practitioner at Baptist Health Primary Care. She cares for adults with chronic conditions, including diabetes, anxiety and depression. She speaks English and Spanish.

Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care in 2012, Barbara worked in private practice with Internal Medicine Physicians as a nurse practitioner. She’s worked at the same internal medicine office since 1982, providing years of reliable, compassionate care for her patients, with the practice acquired by Baptist Health in 2012.

In 2016, she won the Baptist Health Medical Group Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award in recognition of her quality care and dedication to improving her patients’ health.

Barbara is passionate about helping patients feel better. She enjoys helping people and teaching them how to better care for their minds and bodies. Barbara’s care philosophy is to listen closely to her patients to discover what they truly need. She offers personalized care that fits their lifestyle and needs.

In her free time, Barbara loves to travel and learn about other cultures.
