Olanrewaju Adekola, MD

I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and my parents are immigrants from southwest Nigeria. I’ve been fortunate to study and train in many diverse settings including Baltimore, Mexico City, Minneapolis, and Seattle. In my medical practice it is important to me that my patients feel both heard and empowered as we work together to promote their health and longevity. It is a personal goal of mine to have a positive impact on my community and I strive to undo the effects of systemic racism in healthcare whenever possible.
I love to travel, cook from scratch, and collect wine, vinyl records, and sneakers. My favorite sports teams are the Minnesota Vikings and Timberwolves, but I also love to watch the English Premier League.
