Jennifer S. Xu, MD

Dr. Jennifer Xu is a board-certified UCI Health cardiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. Her clinical interests include structural and valvular heart disease, including aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation, cardiac imaging and sports/exercise heart care. She conducts research on how artificial intelligence can be used to improve cardiac imaging.

Xu earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed a residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, both at UCI Medical Center in Orange, Calif.

A diagnosis of heart disease can be life changing. Xu prides herself on her ability to simplify heart disease and educate her patients to become advocates for their own health. She also enjoys running, baking and exploring Southern California.
