Mehrin Islam, M.D.

Dr. Mehrin Islam is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. She earned herbachelor’s degree in global health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicineat East Carolina University. She completed her pediatric residency at University of Texas Southwestern/Children's Health and a pediatric emergency medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Islam’s clinical and research interests include global health, simulation and wellness. She is fluent in Bangla and proficient in Spanish.
