Electrostatic painting, also known as electrostatic coating or powder coating, is a process used to apply a durable and high-quality finish to various objects and surfaces, typically metal or other conductive materials.

The paint or powder particles are given an electrostatic charge, typically with the help of an electrostatic gun or sprayer. The charged particles become positively or negatively charged, depending on the application. The charged paint particles are attracted to the grounded surface, creating an even and uniform coating.
