I chose psychiatry because I noticed the crucial role mental health plays in a patient's overall well-being. Connecting with patients and understanding their goals became my passion across different medical fields. I'm dedicated to broadening access to mental health care, embracing diversity in experiences and backgrounds. Witnessing the positive impact on one person's life and the ripple effect in their families and communities is truly fulfilling. The most rewarding aspect is observing patients' growth, actively listening to their goals, and collaboratively working towards achievable milestones during treatment.
