Janice Wang, MD

Janice Wang, MD graduated from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a 7-year program where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from City College of New York and M.D. degree from SUNY Downstate, Brooklyn, New York. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training and Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine fellowships at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep medicine. Her career in pulmonary medicine has focused on the important and rapidly evolving area of adult cystic fibrosis (CF) care. She serves as the Adult CF Center s Therapeutic Development Network (TDN) Center Director and is the site's Principle Investigator for multiple industry-sponsored clinical trials sanctioned by Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's (CFF) TDN. Dr. Wang is also a Certified Principal Investigator from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Dr. Wang is an educator to patients, their families and caregivers and other physicians, delivering numerous Institutional Grand Round lectures and virtual educational events in the form of support groups and Town Halls. She is involved in CF Fundraising and has traveled to Albany on CF Advocacy Day to meet with New York State legislators advocating for affordable health care. Her mission is to deliver quality multidisciplinary care and resources to our patients, perform innovative clinical research and to provide education to patients and healthcare providers.
