Arfa Mirza, DO

Arfa Mirza, DO, is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician and holds an academic title of Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Mirza enjoys precepting 1st year Hofstra medical students during their medicine clerkship. Dr. Mirza completed her residency at Peconic Bay Medical Center Northwell Health in Family Medicine, where she took on the role of Chief Resident. Dr. Mirza graduated from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine and received her undergraduate degree from Hofstra University. Dr. Mirza sees patients at her practice and also admits her patients at Huntington Hospital. Dr. Mirza offers a full spectrum of Family Medicine services ranging from newborns to geriatrics. Dr. Mirza performs physicals, OB/GYN services, and manages a variety of conditions including but not limited to medical, pediatric, psychiatric, and infectious diseases. Dr. Mirza's osteopathic training also enables her to manage common musculoskeletal conditions with osteopathic manipulative medicine allowing for a more hands-on approach to patient care.
