Leland Crumpton Stoddard III, MD

My journey into medicine started really early. Pretty much all of my family is in health care. I started going into the operating room with my dad when I was a kid, and then my mom has been a nurse. Getting to take care of women through every phase of their life was something that really drew me to it. Not just seeing a patient once or twice and then never again, but getting to see them multiple times and build that relationship was something that really drew me to it. There's nothing like the rush of delivering a baby and handing it to the mom for the first time.
