Maria E. Rivera, FNP

Maria Rivera, DNP, FNP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner with Providence Neurology-Medford. She is passionate about providing accessible and culturally competent care to patients and families in her community – it’s why she became a medical provider. Maria listens actively and focuses her attention on each patient. “I take the time to thoroughly explain everything,” she says, “and to make sure patients leave feeling confident and comfortable with their care plan.” Her favorite part of her work, she adds, is “helping patients feel better and improve their quality of life.” Maria holds bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in nursing from the Oregon Health & Science University School of Nursing. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
