Bernardo Acevedo Mendez, MD

Dr. Bernardo Acevedo Mendez is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Hosfra/Northwell. He finished internal medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 2020. He is a native Spanish speaker. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. His clinical interest includes risk factor optimization such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, and early detection of coronary artery disease. He is a proud member of the American College of Physician, National Lipid Association and American Society for Preventive Cardiology.
