Eileen Sheehy Milano, MD

Eileen Sheehy-Milano,MD is an attending physician based at the R.J. Zuckerberg Cancer Center where she has special interests in breast cancer and gastrointestinal cancer. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, she maintains an active practice where she focuses on compassionate, personalized, evidence based multi-disciplinary care. Prior to moving her practice to the R.J. Zuckerberg Cancer Center, Dr. Sheehy-Milano practiced for 25 years at Northwell Glen Cove Hospital. She earned her medical degree at the Jefferson College for Health Professions in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. She trained in Internal Medicine at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut with a chief residency year as part of the U. Conn. health system. She completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. An active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Medical Association, Dr. Sheehy-Milano is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
