Vernon M May, MD

V. Mitchell May, M.D., earned a bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University, Morehead, Kentucky, followed by his medical degree from the University of Kentucky. He completed his pediatric residency at Charleston Area Medical Center and West Virginia University. He practiced for 11 years in Corbin, Kentucky, before moving to Norton Children’s Medical Associates – Frankfort in 2016.
Dr. May is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Kentucky chapter of the AAP and the Kentucky Medical Association. He is board certified in pediatrics.
A native of Morehead, Dr. May enjoys spending time with his wife, watching baseball, gardening and traveling. He is an avid Superman, Star Wars and University of Kentucky basketball fan.
