Roopa Dillikar, MD

Her fascination with science, quest for knowledge and compassion for people helped guide Dr. Dillikar to find her purpose, to serve as a community physician to help others.

It is a combination of evidence-based medicine and a strong doctor-patient relationship that drives Dr. Dillikar’s passion to serve her patients. Her goal is to exceed her patients’ expectations and help them achieve their goals. When her patients are happy, she is happy.

She chose to practice in internal medicine as it is a challenging field that brings her a diverse set of patients and conditions. She prides herself on being a great listener and providing compassion as her patients share their questions and concerns. As she states, “It is a great honor to have the trust of my patients. I appreciate the opportunity to serve in this role and strive to provide compassionate and high-quality care.”

Fluent in Hindi, Dr. Dillikar attended Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College in India, completed her internal medicine residency at The State University of New York at Buffalo and went on to obtain a fellowship in obesity medicine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Dillikar enjoys being outdoors whether it is camping, hiking or backpacking. Additionally, she derives great satisfaction from spending time with her kids and extended family as well as cooking.
