I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon where I enjoyed many of the outdoor opportunities of the great Pacific Northwest. I was drawn to the science of Allergy and Immunology during my undergraduate studies at OSU where I graduated in Microbiology and Immunology. After my MD degree from OHSU and then Internal Medicine residency at GWU Hospital in Washington D.C., I completed a 3-year fellowship at UC San Diego and received board certification by ABAI, a conjoint Board of the American Boards of Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics.
