Kara Deaver Chang, MD

Dr. Kara Deaver Chang joined About Women By Women in 2010 after relocating from the Midwest. Kara grew up in Iowa and is a graduate of the University of Iowa. She remained in the Midwest for her medical training, completing her medical degree and residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. Before moving to the Boston area, Kara was a practicing obstetrician / gynecologist in downtown Chicago. She has a special interest in adolescent health, contraceptive management, preconception care, and minimally invasive office based procedures. Kara sees patients at both the Wellesley and Walpole locations.

Kara lives in Cambridge with her husband and two young children. Kara enjoys spending her free time being “mama” to her little princess and her happy little boy.
