Jena Jamison, MD, and her skilled team at Healing From the Roots offer innovative, integrative adult psychiatry services to the community of Golden, Colorado. Dr. Jamison welcomes patients to pursue wellness and improved mental health in a comfortable, confidential environment.

Dr. Jamison completed her undergraduate education at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, before earning her medical degree at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. She finished her residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she was named Chief Resident.

Dr. Jamison aims to give patients the tools to recover, reset, and heal, focusing on wellness by healing from the inside out. She offers ketamine therapy for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and emphasizes integrative medicine: treating the human system as a whole. To better meet this goal, she provides medication management, when needed, in conjunction with therapy for optimal results.

Always passionate about improving her patients’ lives, Dr. Jamison also trained at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and continues her education in integrative medical treatments. She is board-certified in psychiatry and neurology and a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
