As a family nurse practitioner, my job includes diagnosing and treating a wide variety of health problems, including common sicknesses and ongoing illnesses. I also perform physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.

I believe in looking at the big picture when it comes to healthcare. I don't just think about my patients' physical health. I also consider their feelings, relationships with others, and the things around them that might affect their health. My care includes helping my patients find the right resources or other doctors if they need them.

Talking openly and honestly with patients is important. It helps my patients trust me and empowers them to make decisions about their healthcare that match their goals.

The best part of my job is knowing I'm making a difference. I love helping people, improving their lives, and making our communities healthier.
