Avinash Nagaraja Gururaja, MD

Avinash Gururaja, MD, is board certified in family medicine. He earned his medical degree from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri. He completed his internship and residency at the Family Practice Center at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Gururaja describes himself as curious, fun-loving, and very persistent when trying to find answers and diagnoses for his patients. His own experience of undergoing surgery and recovering from a fractured femur in 2005 has given him more empathy for his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Gururaja enjoys playing basketball and singin g karaoke. In addition to English, he has a basic understanding of Spanish and speaks fluent Kannada.
