Doris Owusu Amoah, DNP, FNP-BC

Doris Owusu Amoah, DNP, FNP-BC is a family nurse practitioner specializing in OB/GYN and Women’s Health. As a dedicated healthcare professional with an extensive background in nursing, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and fostering wellness. With experience spanning various medical settings in Maryland and in Charleston, South Carolina, she has honed her expertise across diverse specialties in caring for patients in immediate post-surgical, trauma, neuro-spine, and medical-surgical units. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and went on to graduate from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She has a vested interest in women’s health and has undergone further training at the MUSC Women’s Health at Florence Women's Pavilion. Doris is dedicated to providing patient-centered care with compassion and enjoys engaging patients as active participants in their healthcare.
