J. Chadwick Tober, M.D., FACS

A fellow of the American College of Surgeons and board certified in general and vascular surgery, Dr. Chad Tober joined MUSC Health from Beaufort Memorial Surgical Specialists. He came to Beaufort from The Ohio State University Medical Center, where he spent 10 years on the teaching faculty, including as an associate professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery and the medical director of the vascular lab.

Dr. Tober is highly experienced in the treatment of a range of vascular conditions, both major and minor. He performs minimally invasive endovascular and standard open vascular procedures; is trained in the management of complex vascular wounds including the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy; and offers a full spectrum of services to treat venous disease, among them endovenous laser treatment (EVLT) for varicose veins.
