Witnessing a patient recover after an injury or be able to throw a ball again is one of the most rewarding and inspiring parts of my job. I specialize in orthopedic surgery and shoulder and elbow surgery, and helping people return to activities they enjoy is both an honor and a privilege. 

When working with a patient, I strive to understand their goals, expectations and concerns thoroughly. Open communication and discussion can also impact which treatment may give them the best outcome.

I want to ensure patients are well-informed and satisfied with their care. I have a reasonably conservative approach to patient care, and surgery is not always the answer. Patients should know that many conditions can be treated nonsurgically or with less invasive methods.

The challenge of treating conditions related to shoulder and elbow surgery is something I enjoy, and was one of the reasons I pursued the subspecialty.
