Pooja Murthy, MD

 Pooja Murthy, MD, is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in medical oncology and internal medicine, and has expertise in breast cancer, cervical cancer, hereditary breast cancer syndrome, ovarian cancer, and uterine cancer. She is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicineand an Assistant Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.  Dr. Murthy is a graduate of Cornell University and SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan and her hematology/medical oncology fellowship at New York University. An accomplished author, Dr. Murthy has been published in various peer-reviewed publications and relevant publications. Dr. Murthy is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Women’s Association, and the American Medical Association, and has presented at numerous cancer presentations throughout the United States and Canada. She has also been on the Pfizer Oncology Medical Advisory Board since 2021. Her research interests include breast cancer clinical trials and hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
