Samuel M Simkoff, APRN

Samuel M. Simkoff, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates. He earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bellarmine University in Louisville and his master’s degree in nursing from the Frontier Nursing University. Samuel has six years of experience as an emergency room nurse, and is passionate about delivering high-quality health care to populations facing health inequities and disparities.
A strong advocate for correcting health care inequities, Samuel is committed to providing dignified care to all community members, especially in areas where health care is underdelivered. He believes in a team-based approach to health care, inviting patients to share in the decision-making process. Samuel also supports a holistic health care model that considers environmental, sociological and psychosocial determinants of health, in addition to physiological factors.
In his free time, Samuel enjoys cooking, reading to his kids at night, listening to music and hiking whenever he has the time.
