Sepehr Oliaei, MD

Dr. Sepehr Oliaei is a board-certified UCI Health otolaryngologist who specializes in the comprehensive management of ear, nose and throat disorders and surgical care of salivary gland and thyroid disease.

A leader in the management of neoplastic and obstructive salivary gland disorders, he offers minimally invasive sialendoscopy techniques for obstructive parotid and submandibular gland disorders in addition to minimally invasive resection techniques for low grade salivary gland tumors.

Oliaei earned his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La., followed by residency training in otolaryngology at UCI Medical Center in Orange, Calif.

His research interests include clinical outcome studies in parotid and submandibular sialendoscopy, as well as optimization of patient outcomes and resource utilization via enhancing the interface between subspecialty medical care and urgent/emergency care.
