We are thrilled to introduce Jawad Ahmad, M.D., as the newest Cornea Specialist at Pacific Eye Surgeons. Dr. Ahmad brings a remarkable combination of expertise, compassion, and unwavering commitment to patient care. He will be providing his services at our offices in San Luis Obispo, Lompoc, Santa Maria, and Paso Robles.
Dr. Ahmad is a highly accomplished ophthalmologist focused on Advanced Lens Cataract Surgery, Cornea Surgery (including Corneal Cross-linking), Dry Eye procedures, LASIK, Refractive Surgery, and Comprehensive Ophthalmology.

He believes in taking a comprehensive approach to patient care, understanding the patient’s full medical history and personal situation, not just their current condition. This patient-centric philosophy ensures that every individual receives tailored and personalized treatment plans, optimizing their eye health journey.

Board Eligible and with exceptional background, Dr. Ahmad completed his prestigious Fellowship Training at the renowned Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. There, he received specialized training in cornea, refractive surgery, and advanced cataract surgery. Prior to this, he earned his medical degree from the esteemed State University of New York, Downstate College of Medicine, and was a proud graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a concentration in neurobiology.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Ahmad enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son, playing tennis, visiting the beach, and trying new food.
As a multilingual physician, Dr. Ahmad is fluent in Urdu and Hindi, which further enhances his ability to connect with and serve a diverse range of patients. He is eagerly looking forward to meeting you and providing exceptional eye care services tailored to your individual needs.
