Dr. Kevin C. Lunde has devoted his practice to the study of the aesthetics and function of the face, head and neck. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his specialty training in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in 1991. Dr. Lunde served eight years in the U.S. Air Force, including acting as the Chairman of the Otolaryngology Department at Carswell AFB in Ft. Worth.
He combined his interest in plastic surgery with his experience in Head and Neck surgery when he was selected for a fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Houston, Texas. Dr. Lunde is double board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He was the recipient of the Jack R. Anderson Prize for Scholastic Excellence for having the highest score on the Facial Plastic Surgery certifying exam. He was awarded the U. S. Air Force Commendation Medal for establishing a surgical workshop and instructional program for Family Practice residents and Physician Assistant students. Dr. Lunde has also passed the Fellow examination of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
